What’s the difference between an emergency room and an urgent care clinic?
Urgent care and walk-in clinics exist to offer accessible, affordable health care services for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Wait times at urgent care centers are generally shorter than an ER’s, and care is provided at a fraction of the cost.
However, if you have a life-threatening condition, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Urgent care centers cannot treat serious injuries or sicknesses.
Does Westcare Clinic have licensed physicians or physician’s assistants on staff daily?
Westcare Clinic doctors are licensed medical professionals. Our staff includes physician assistants, medical doctors, and nurse practitioners who are available 7-days a week to deliver personalized care to patients who are suffering from minor ailments.
How do I pay for immediate care services?
If you are not covered by health insurance, you may pay at the time of your visit. If you do have a health insurance carrier, we will ask for your ID and insurance card when you arrive. Westcare Clinic accepts credit and debit, checks, and cash.
If you cannot pay in full at the time of your visit, you may pay in manageable monthly installments as well.
