How long is the wait time at a walk-in medical center

We strive to make your wait time as short as possible. There may be times when a patient with a severe injury may take priority, but we make every effort to see you as close to your time of arrival as possible.

We do prioritize more severe injuries and illnesses over minor cases, and individuals who have scheduled appointments with a specialist may be called back before you. But, we make every effort to see you as close to your time of arrival as possible.

Is an emergency room visit necessary?

We advise anyone who is experiencing serious chest pain, bleeding, head trauma, poisoning, seizures, difficulty breathing, impaired vision, or significant abdominal pain to be taken to the ER. Walk-in clinic physicians are not equipped to provide adequate care for these severe conditions.

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

You do not need a referral to be seen by an urgent care doctor at Westcare Clinic. We are available when you are unable to make an appointment with your regular doctor.
